Projects

This dashboard was created in conjunction with a Twitter Bot, as my Honours 2020 final hand-in and can be seen here.

It aims to gain insight and draw conclusions around social connectedness online during a societal lockdown.

Belonging Bot is a Twitter bot created to interact with users in specific hashtags. It's profile can be seen here.

Belonging Bot answers my research question: In what ways can sentiment analysis, using folksonomies from Twitter, be used to understand social connectedness online further?

Persist Ponte is an interactive story that was created as a part of my Honours 2020 hand-ins. It was inspired by a Hillbrow tour, and is available to try here.

This is meant to allow users to understand the hardships of a young Johannesburg resident, and encourage empathy.

Pitter Palette is an iOS application built in Swift that extracts colour palettes from images I take or upload - to combat my indecisiveness when selecting a colour palette.

This was a personal project to solve a problem that I run into often.

This was a freelance design project that I worked on for a pharmaceutical company. I designed this using Adobe Photoshop and used Figma to show the user interactions.

I was tasked with redesigning a responsive website to encorperate new features.

What the Fork? is an AI powered web app, built using Clarifai's food API and React. It allows people to find out what the nutritional value of the food that they are eating is.

What the Fork? allows users to either select an image from their gallery, or to take one using their camera to be analysed.

Roots is a group project for a conceptual restaurant management system, designed for an African vegan café, built in Reactjs and Laravel, and hosted with Heroku.

Roots allows for different tiers of users to access different pages and functionalities of the site.

Helper is a first aid companion application built in Xamarin.Forms and C#. It allows those with little first aid knowledge and experience to be of help in an emergency.

Helper accesses your location, connects to Google Maps, allows users to add their own emergency contact, and phone emergency services.

Figures is a calculator app created in Swift. The user's calculation history is stored locally to their device.

It allows for all simple calculations, as well as memory functions, and includes button animations and "shake to clear" functionality.

Dash is a sprint tracker app created in Kotlin, used to remember project tasks that need to be completed.

Users are able to add Sprints, add tasks to those sprints, and edit, delete, and check off tasks and Sprints that they’ve completed.

Space Team was a group project for the 2018 Open Window Hackathon where we built an interactive game using Arduino.

Players attempt to score points by touching randomised lit-up sensors on either side of the board with their connected handles, within the time limit.
